Creating and launching your site can be distracting especially if you are trying to run and manage your main business online or offline.  There are of course a couple of ways to approach it if you are small business or organization. You can hire someone to create the site; which usually means they create it but require you to provide content and maintain it or you can do it yourself, which can be overwhelming especially if you don’t know how to program websites.  Of course, if you are reading this its probably because you plan to do it yourself and have some interest in our easy site creation software.

But be careful and stay focused. Our site creation software is easy to use but because of that it can sometimes  can lead to delays in launching your site as you continue trying new templates, adding different widgets and search for just the right words to “WOW” your visitors.  But don’t worry that’s why we are here to help business owners, organizations and people just like you get their site up and running fast, easily and with style.

SEO How To’s run the gamut from “White Hat” which are techniques used that are approved or considered valid by the Search Engines to “Black Hat” which are techniques used to cheat or game the search engines, which can often result in your site being banned from the very search engines you were trying to be included in. Of course, we will focus this short list on the “White Hat” techniques and just provide this simple definition to help you understand “Black Hat” techniques; essentially if what you are planning to do seems like a “cheat” then it probably is.

The basic but important SEO White Hat techniques you need to learn about and implement are based on our experience and current wisdom about the search engines. Keep in mind no one really knows the details of how Google and other search engines determine what site to rank higher or highest, but there are some well known and used techniques that logically make sense and have proven over time to at least be considerations in the search engine algorithms. Search Engine Optimization or SEO is the technique used to help ensure Google, Yahoo and the other website crawlers find your site and know what it’s about. Why is that important? Well, most people use these search engines when they are looking for information or products/services on the web. If Google knows your site is about the best widgets in North America; well then it can send visitors your way when someone “Google’s” something like “American Widget makers”. But how do you help the search engines understand what your site is about? SEO! Yep, with the right keywords, onsite and offsite optimization, links, Meta tags, text, image tagging and other SEO techniques you can help your site show up at the top of the search pages on Google, Yahoo and Bing.
